Description electrocardiogram
Electrocardiogram (ECG) It measures the electrical activity of the heart. Heart generates an electrical signal, which comes from the heart throughout the body. Small electric Sensors, called electrodes, placed on the skin, to grasp the current, which generates a heart. The electrical activity of the heart is then translated into graphic form. This can give doctors an idea, as far as normal heart beats.
Reasons for electrocardiograms
ECG is used:
- To diagnose heart attack and problems with heart rhythm;

- To detect disorders, that change the balance of electrolytes in the body (eg, potassium and magnesium);
- To detect other problems, such as overdose of some drugs.

- Heartbeat (rapid heartbeat);
- Anxiety;
- Weakness;
- Nausea or vomiting desire;
- Abdominal pain;
- Frequent fainting;
- Taking certain medications.
ECG can be assigned in the following cases:
