PHARMACEUTICAL FORM, COMPOSITION AND PACKAGING

◊ Gel for external use 1% clear, colorless.

Excipients: lactose, sorbitol 70% solution, metilparagidroksiʙenzoat, sorbic acid, hydroxyethyl, Purified water.

5 g – aluminum tuba (1) – cardboard boxes.

Pharmacological action

Antivirals for outdoor use. It is active against Herpes simplex virus types 1 and 2, Varicella zoster. Inhibits the absorption and penetration of viruses into the cell. Virus resistance to the drug does not develop. Relieves pain characteristic of the manifestation of herpes infection, burning and itching, reduces the duration of the course of the disease, lengthens periods of remission.

Pharmacokinetics

When applied externally, absorption is minimal, not detected in blood and urine.

Testimony

- inflammatory diseases of the skin, caused by the Herpes simplex type virus 1 (Lip herpes, nose, facial nerve) and type 2 (genital herpes);

- inflammatory diseases of the skin, caused by the Varicella zoster virus.

Dosage regimen

The gel is applied to the affected skin 3-5 time / day (more often if necessary), gently rubbing. A course of treatment – 5 days. Treatment with the drug must be stopped and a doctor consulted, if in 2 no clinical improvement is observed on the day after drug administration.
