Characteristic.

An antiviral agent for topical application.

Pharmacological action.
Antiviral, antiherpetic.

Application.

Herpes (skin and mucous оболочках на ранних стадиях — до образования пузырьков), shingles.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, herpes infection at the stage of vesicles.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions (may manifest increased itching, edema, redness, pain).

Overdose.

Due to the low absorption into the systemic circulation of overdose unlikely.

Dosing and Administration.

Outwardly. The gel is applied to the damaged areas 3-5 times a day, gently rubbing.

Precautions.

If during the 2 days of no improvement, tromantadine treatment is stopped.
