Pharmaceutical form, composition and packaging

◊ Nasal drops (for children) 0.05% as a clear, colorless liquid, without smell.

Excipients: sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, disodium эdetat, benzalkonium chloride (in shape 50% solution), sorbitol 70%, gipromelloza – 4 thous., sodium chloride, water.

Pharmacological action

Vasoconstrictor drugs for local application in an ENT-practice. Xylometazoline has alpha adrenomimeticheskim action. Causes vasoconstriction of the nasal mucosa, thus eliminating edema and hyperemia mucosa nasopharynx. Facilitates nasal breathing in rhinitis.

The drug is well tolerated by patients with sensitive mucosa, its effect does not interfere with the separation of mucus. The preparation has a balanced pH, characteristic of the nasal cavity.
