Pharmacological action.
Vasoconstrictive, antikongestivnoe.

Application.

Acute infection and allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, otitis media (in a combination therapy to reduce swelling of the mucous nasopharynx), pollen disease; Patient preparation for diagnostic procedures in the nasal cavity.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, arterial hypertension, tachycardia, expressed atherosclerosis, Surgical intervention in the meninges (history), glaucoma, atrophic rhinitis, hyperthyroidism, pregnancy, childhood (to 6 years - for 0,1% solution, to 2 years - for 0,05% solution, to 7 years - Gel).

Restrictions apply.

CHD (angina), prostatic hyperplasia, diabetes, lactation.

Side effects.

Frequent or prolonged use - irritation, burning, pricking, sneezing, dryness, hypersecretion; rare - swelling of the nasal mucosa, heartbeat, irregular heartbeat, increased blood pressure, headache, vomiting, somnipathy, anxiety, blurred vision, depression (long-term use in high doses).

Cooperation.

Incompatible with MAO inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants.

Overdose.

Symptoms: increased side effects.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Dosing and Administration.

Intranasal. Adults and children over 6 years - 2-3 drops 0,1% solution or infusion of one spray in each nostril 4 once a day (usually), Children up to 6 years - 1-2 drops 0,05% solution into each nostril 1 or 2 (no more 3) once a day; nasal gel (Only for adults and children over 7 years) - 3-4 times a day (the last time - shortly before bedtime) lay a small amount of gel as deeply as possible into each nostril. Duration of treatment - 3-5 days (no more).

Precautions.

Before use, clean the nasal passages. Should not be used for a long time (such as chronic rhinitis). For colds, in cases, when the nose formed crust, preferably administered in the form of a gel.
