Pharmacological action

Combined antibacterial drug.

Оксациллин – антибиотик из группы полусинтетических пенициллинов. Effective bactericidal, inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell wall. Resistant to penicillinase. Active against gram-positive bacteria: Staphylococcus spp. (incl. producing penicillinase), Streptococcus spp. (incl. Streptococcus pneumoniae), Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Bacillus anthracis; Gram negative bacteria: Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis; Anaerobic bacteria: spore-forming bacillus, Actinomyces spp. For oxacillin-resistant Gram-negative bacteria most, Rickettsia, viruses, protozoa, mushrooms.

Dosage regimen

The drug is administered / m or / (bolus or infusion).
