Pharmacological action
Antiseptic preparation for local application in an ENT-practice and stomatology. The antimicrobial effect of the drug due to the suppression of oxidation reactions of metabolism of bacteria (antagonist thiamine).
The drug has a broad spectrum of antibacterial action (incl. against gram-positive bacteria) and antifungal activity (incl. against fungi of the genus Candida).
Geksoral® It may also have an effect in the treatment of infections, caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa or Proteus spp.
The concentration 100 mg / mL drug suppresses most bacterial strains. Development of resistance was not observed.
Geksetidin has little effect on the anesthetic mucosa.

Dosage regimen
The drug is applied topically.
