Characteristic.

Derivative pirrodinilpiridinov. The white crystalline powder, without smell. Soluble in chloroform and alcohol, slightly soluble in water.

Pharmacological action.
Antihistamine, antiallergic, antiexudative.

Application.

Nasal allergy, pollen disease, allergic dermatitis, pruritic atopic eczema, symptomatic dermographism, hives (chronic idiopathic, cholinergic, cold).

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity (incl. to triprolidine), severe renal insufficiency, pregnancy, lactation, childhood (to 12 years).

Pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Contraindicated. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side effects.

From the nervous system and sensory organs: seldom - a headache, dizziness, nervousness, insomnia, drowsiness, reduction in the rate of mental and motor responses, impaired attention.

Allergic reactions: very rare - anaphylaxis, angioedema, bronchospasm, erythema multiforme.

From the digestive tract: rarely - dry mouth, nausea, dyspepsia.

Other: pharyngitis, dysmenorrhoea.

Cooperation.

Alcohol and other means, CNS depressants, can enhance the effect on the central nervous system (the combination is not recommended).

Overdose.

Symptoms: weakness, paleness, insomnia, drowsiness, fear, alarm, excitation, tremor, convulsions, dizurija, arrhythmia, collapse.

Treatment: symptomatic and supportive therapy.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside, adults and children over 12 years - 8 mg 3 once a day.

Precautions.

Be wary of during the drivers of vehicles and people, skills relate to the high concentration of attention. When you assign elderly patients monitoring of renal function is recommended.
