Pharmacological action

Immunomodulatory drugs, affect the reaction cell, humoral immunity and nonspecific resistance of the organism. It has interferonogenic action.

Part of the preparation bendazol induces endogenous interferon. Enzymes, interferon induced in cells of various organs, inhibit viral replication. Besides, activating the immune cells, drug helps normalize immune status.

Timogen effect on T-cell immunity.

Ascorbic acid activates humoral immunity, normalizes capillary permeability, thereby suppressing inflammation.

 

Pharmacokinetics

Absorption

After ingestion completely absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Bioavailability bendazol – about 80%, timogena – no more 15% and ascorbic acid – 90%.

Metabolism

Timogen under the influence of peptidases splits into L- glyutaminovuyu kislotu and L-tryptophan, which are used by the body in the synthesis of proteins.

Deduction

Metabolites of ascorbic acid and excreted in the urine bendazol. T1/2 component does not exceed 3 no.

Dosage regimen

The drug is taken orally for 30 minutes before eating.

With the aim of prevention and treatment of adults and children over 6 years appoint 1 caps. 3 times / day for 4 days.

Children aged 1 Year to 3 years appoint 2 ml syrup 3 times / day for 4 days; children aged 3 to 6 years – by 4 ml 3 times / day for 4 days; children aged 6 to 10 years – by 8 ml 3 times / day for 4 days; children over the age of 10 years – by 12 ml 3 times / day for 4 days.

FROM prophylactically a second course of treatment can be carried out through 3-4 of the week.

 

Side effect

Cardio-vascular system: short-term reduction in blood pressure (in patients with dystonia neurocirculatory).
