Pharmaceutical form, composition and packaging

Pharmacological action

Dermatoprotektorny drug. Zinc pyrithione has anti-, antibacterial and antifungal activity. Antibacterial activity of zinc pyrithione has been reported for a number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria: Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus spp. Zinc pyrithione reduces the intracellular level of ATP, It promotes cell membrane depolarization, causing the death of fungi and bacteria.
