Pharmacological action.
Estrogenic, progestogens, androgenic.

Application.

Menopause (natural and surgical), osteoporosis when estrogen deficiency (prevention).

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, hormone-dependent tumors (or suspicion of them), vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology, thrombosis and thromboembolism (incl. history), severe liver, pregnancy, lactation.

Side effects.

From the nervous system and sensory organs: headache or migraine, dizziness, depression.

Other: bleeding from the vagina, pain in the breast or abdomen, swelling of the lower legs, itching, weight gain, nausea, rash, hirsutism, changes in liver function tests, seborrheic dermatosis.

Cooperation.

It enhances the effect of anticoagulants, increases the need for hypoglycemic agents (reduces glucose tolerance). Activity is reduced, while the application of rifampicin, karʙamazepina.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside, without chewing, by 2,5 mg once daily (at the same time of the day). The first tablet is taken from the top, encircled in a number of, which marked the day, corresponding to the day you start taking, subsequent - in the direction, arrow. The improvement is achieved within a few weeks, the best course of treatment 3 months or more.

Precautions.

Requires regular monitoring of relevant laboratory parameters in patients with hypercholesterolemia, renal dysfunction and diabetes. It will be appreciated, that in the treated group may decrease the levels of total and free thyroxine and thyroxine-binding globulin.
