Characteristic.

Complexing agent.

Clear transparent granules or crystals, odorless, salty-bitter taste; Very easily soluble in water (1:1), practically insoluble in alcohol; molecular weight 248,17 (pentagidrat).

Pharmacological action.
Detoxication, anti-inflammatory, desensitizing, protivoparazitarnoe, antiscabietic.

Application.

Intoxication mыshyyakom, lead, mercury, bromine salts, Iodine, hydrocyanic acid and cyanide; allergic diseases, arthritis, neuralgia; scabies.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Application of pregnancy is possible only in case of emergency. Reproductive studies in animals with sodium thiosulfate is not performed. Unknown, whether sodium thiosulfate cause adverse fetal effects when taking pregnant women and affect the ability to reproduce.

Dosing and Administration.
