Characteristic.

The white crystalline powder or small flakes, odorless, sweet-salty taste. Very easily soluble in water (1:1), soluble in ethanol (1:6) glycerol, practically insoluble in ether.

Pharmacological action.
Analgesic, pyretic, anti-inflammatory.

Application.

Rheumatic fever, pleural effusion, nerevmaticheskiy arthritis, gout, neuralgia, myalgia, rheumatic endocarditis, miokardit.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, hemophilia, bleeding, incl. pulmonary, stomach, Royal; aggravation of gastric ulcer, gastritis, bronchial asthma.

Side effects.

From the nervous system and sensory organs: noise in ears, impaired hearing and eyesight, diplopia, weakness, anxiety, incoherence, hallucinations, convulsions.

From the digestive tract: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, anorexia.

Other: increased sweating, anaphylactic reactions (swelling of the eyelids, lips, language, larynx, person), allergic skin reactions.

Dosing and Administration.
