Pharmacological action.
Laxative.

Application.

Constipation of different etiologies, due to hypotension and sluggish peristalsis thick kishki- when changing nature of power and place of residence, after operation, prolonged bedrest, pregnancy, metabolic disorders, obesity, Secondary constipation; hemorrhoids, proctitis and anal fissures (to regulate and facilitate bowel movement), Preparation for surgery, X-ray or endoscopy in the digestive tract, urography, X-ray of the lumbosacral spine.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, The clinical picture of "acute abdomen" (ileus, strangulated hernia, appendicitis, peritonitis and other acute diseases of the abdominal cavity), gastrointestinal and uterine bleeding, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting of unknown origin, cystitis, severe dehydration, spastic constipation.

Restrictions apply.

Condition following surgery on the gastrointestinal tract, childhood (to 4 years).

Pregnancy and breast-feeding.

It contraindicated in I trimester of pregnancy. In II and III trimesters of pregnancy and lactation use only on prescription.

Side effects.

Abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiturition, for prolonged daily use - disruption of water-electrolyte balance, weakness, convulsions, low blood pressure.

Cooperation.

Broad-spectrum antibiotics reduce the laxative effect; diuretics and glucocorticoids increases the risk of water and electrolyte imbalance; may increase susceptibility to cardiac glycosides.

Overdose.

Symptoms: paroxysmal abdominal pain, loose stools; in chronic overdose - ischemia colonic mucosa, hyperaldosteronism, urolithiasis disease, the defeat of the renal tubules.

Treatment: gastric lavage, correction of water and electrolyte balance, antispasmodic drugs.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside, a small amount of water, in the morning or before going to bed; starting dose for adults - 10 drops, older children 4 years - 5-8 drops; depending on the effect of the dose in subsequent methods reduce or increase.

Precautions.

It is not recommended without medical supervision to use more 10 days.
