Characteristic.

White small needle-like crystals or light crystalline powder. Slightly soluble in cold water (1:500), soluble in hot water (1:5), easy soluble in alcohol (1:3).

Pharmacological action.
Antiseptic, mestnorazdrazhayuschee, wound healing.

Application.

Monotherapy and as part of combination drugs for inflammatory, infections and other skin lesions, incl. burns, psoriasis, eczema, dyskeratoses, ichthyosis, acne vulgaris, Warts, hyperkeratosis, corn, callus, oily seborrhea, chromophytosis; hair loss; sweating of the feet.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, renal failure, infancy.

Side effects.

Local irritation (itch, burning at the site of application), allergic reactions.

Dosing and Administration.

Locally, applied to the lesion (мазь — тонким слоем) and close sterile cloth or sterile bandage is applied, soaked in the ointment.
