Characteristic.

White or almost white crystalline powder, without smell. Practically insoluble in water; soluble in alcohol, acetone and dioxane; it is soluble in plant маслах и очень легко — в хлороформе. Stable in air. Molecular weight 314,47.

Contraindications.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions.

Capsules: drowsiness, transient dizziness (1-3 h after administration), menstrual disorders (reduction, intermediate bleeding).

Solution in oil: thromboembolism (incl. the pulmonary artery and cerebrovascular), tromboflebit, retinal vein thrombosis, increased blood pressure, swelling, kalkuleznыy cholecystitis, cholestatic hepatitis, drowsiness, headache, depression, apathy, disforija, blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, galactorrhea, weight change, girsutizm, alopecia; increase, pain and tension of the mammary glands; decreased libido, menstrual disorders (reduction, intermediate bleeding); tenderness at the injection site.

Cooperation.

Reduces the effectiveness of drugs, stimulating the smooth muscle of the uterus, anabolic steroids. In an application with barbiturates decreases the action of progesterone.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside, intravaginal, / m, locally. The dosage regimen and selection of dosage forms depend on the evidence. The duration of treatment depends on the nature and characteristics of the disease.

Precautions.
