Pharmacological action

POLYSORB – inorganic non-selective multifunctional enterosorbent based on highly dispersed silica having a particle size up to 0.09 mm and with the chemical formula SiO₂. POLYSORB has sorption, detoxification, antioxidant and membrane stabilizing properties.

The drug adsorbs from the contents of the intestine and removes from the body exo- various toxins and endogenous origin, including pathogenic bacteria and bacterial toxins, antigens, food allergens, medicines and poisons, salts of heavy metals, radionuklidy, alcohol.

POLYSORB also absorbs some of the products of metabolism of the body (incl. bilirubin, Urea, cholesterol and lipid complexes).

Dosage regimen
