Characteristic.
The yellowish-white powder, bitter taste, darkening under the influence of light.
Pharmacological action.
Antibacterial, bactericide.
Application.
Acute and chronic urinary tract infections: pyelonephritis, cystitis, uretrit; prostatitis.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity, expressed by the human kidney and liver, I and III trimesters of pregnancy, childhood.
Restrictions apply.
Caution must be exercised in patients with renal insufficiency. Children, taking the drug, should be under close medical supervision.
Side effects.
Nausea, pain in the stomach, diarrhea, photosensitivity, allergic skin reactions.
Cooperation.
Activity reinforce preparations, alkalizing urine. While the use of theophylline and caffeine slows down the metabolism of the latter and increases the risk of manifestation of adverse reactions.
Dosing and Administration.
Inside. Adults-on 400 mg 2 twice a day for 10 days.
Children 1-15 years — from the calculation 15 mg / kg 2 admission.
Precautions.
During treatment should avoid UV exposure and support enhanced diuresis.
