Characteristic.

Oxymetazoline hydrochloride is freely soluble in water, alcohol. Practically insoluble in ether, xloroforme, benzene. Molecular weight 296,84.

Pharmacological action.
Alfa adrenomimeticheskoe, vasoconstrictor, antikongestivnoe.

Application.

Coryza (incl. allergic), vasomotor rhinitis, paranazalinyi sinusitis, evstahiit, otitis media; for mucosal vasoconstriction diagnostic purposes (under the supervision of a physician).

Contraindications.
