Pharmacological action

The product with a pronounced antispasmodic and choleretic action. It has antispasmodic effect selectively on the biliary tract and sphincter of Oddi. The drug does not impair intestinal motility and reduces blood pressure. Providing choleretic effect, Odeston not only increases the amount of bile, but also increases the secretion of its components. It reduces stagnation of bile and prevents the deposition of cholesterol crystals.
