DOSAGE FORM, COMPOSITION AND PACKING

◊ Cream 1% orange, and odor.

Excipients: cosmetic cream with conditioner.

115 ml – plastic bottles (1) – packs cardboard.

Pharmacological action

Pharmacological action – protivoparazitarnoe (protivopedikuleznoe), insekticidnoe. Activity expressed against lice, fleas, mites (incl. scabies) and etc. ectoparasites of the arthropod family. Inhibits development and causes death of larvae, nits and sexually mature individuals. Antiparasitic effect is due to disruption of ion permeability through sodium channels, inhibition of polarization processes (repolarization) insect nerve cell membranes, which leads to a paralyzing effect. After cutaneous application, absorption is no more than 2%. Part of the substance that enters the systemic circulation is quickly hydrolyzed to inactive metabolites, excreted primarily in urine. For single surface treatment, affected by pediculosis, action lasts from 2-3 to 6 weeks (depending upon the dosage form). Effective as an anti-itch agent after a single procedure.

Testimony

• Scabies (infection with scabies mites Sarcoptes scabiei) in adults and children,
• head and pubic pediculosis.

Dosage regimen

Outwardly (The bottle should be shaken before using the product), After washing your hair with regular shampoo, rinse with water and dry with a towel., then the cream is evenly applied to the scalp or scalp (When pubic pediculosis), rubbing into hair roots.

Typically spent per person 10-30 g product, depending on the degree of insect infestation, hair thickness and length. Through 10 min from the treated parts of the body, the product is washed off with warm running water and soap or shampoo, rinse scalp hair 5% aqueous acetic acid solution, then comb with a fine comb to remove dead insects.

Side effect

Local reactions – burning sensation to the point of burning, tingling or prickling, numbness, increased itching, эritema, allergic reactions (skin rashes, puffiness).

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity (incl. to others. synthetic pyrethroids, Chrysanthemam and dr. plants, containing pyrethrins),
• pregnancy,
• lactation (stop for the period of treatment),
• natural infancy: to 2 months

Pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug is contraindicated.

Cautions

Avoid contact with mucous membranes of the eyes, nose, oral, genitourinary tract (if this happened – mucous membranes are washed abundantly with running water).

Procedures should be carried out in a well-ventilated area or outdoors..

Mandatory consultation with a doctor is required before starting treatment while taking other drugs.. medications or the presence of concomitant diseases of the scalp.

Itch, continued for more 4 weeks after scabies, obligatory medical consultation.

The occurrence of hypersensitivity reactions require discontinuation of treatment.

Overdose

If swallowed, gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy.
