Characteristic.

The powder from light-gray to pale yellow, odorless and tasteless. Practically insoluble in water.

Pharmacological action.
Anthelmintic.

Application.

Teniarinhoz, tenioz, difilloʙotrioz, gimenolepidoz.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity.

Side effects.

Nausea, allergic reactions, aggravation of neurodermatitis.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside, chew or crush the tablets in warm water (1 pill in 50 ml of warm water). Daily dose: for adults - 2-3 g (8-12 Tablets); for children up to 2 years - 0,5 g (2 tablets), 2-5 years - 1 g (4 tablets), 5-12 years - 1,5 g (6 tablets), senior 12 years - 2-3 g (8-12 Tablets).

When teniasis: daily dose taken fasting, through 2 h - saline laxative, through 1 month - the drug is repeated, laxatives, drugs not prescribed.

When teniarinhoze, difilloʙotrioze: take medication on an empty stomach in the morning or in the evening after 3-4 hours after a light meal. On the day of treatment it is recommended liquid or semi-digestible food (broth, liquid porridge, puree, milk, pickled, fruit juices, sweet tea and so on.). Before taking niclosamide take 2 g of sodium bicarbonate.

When hymenolepiasis: taking a daily dose of 4 admission, every 2 no (in 10, 12, 14 and 16 no); food taken in 8, 13 and 18 no. Treatment was carried out for 4 days, through 4 day - repeat; control study carried out by 15 days after the end of treatment and monthly thereafter for 6 Months (to 12 Months). At relapse of the disease - the treatment is repeated in the same way.
