Characteristic.

White or white with a slightly yellowish white crystalline powder, odorless or with a subtle scent. Practically insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol. Easily soluble in chloroform.

Pharmacological action.
Alfa adrenoliticheskoe, vazodilatirtee, improving brain blood circulation.

Application.

Cerebrovascular accidents (incl. when cerebrovascular, stroke, cerebral ischemia, the consequences of thrombosis and embolism of cerebral vessels, post-traumatic encephalopathy, psychoorganic syndrome); migraine; peripheral vascular disorders of the circulatory system (limb arteriopathy, Raynaud's disease), dementia, vertigo, occlusive disease, diabetic retino- and angiopathy, degenerative diseases of the cornea, vascular disturbances in the network and the choroid, ischemic optic neuropathy, vestibular and labyrinth disorders of vascular origin; prostatauxe, voiding, associated with neurogenic bladder.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, hypotension, expressed atherosclerosis, peripheral vascular, organic heart disease, recent myocardial infarction, angina, bradycardia, acute bleeding, pregnancy, lactation.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Contraindicated in pregnancy. At the time of treatment should stop breastfeeding.

Side effects.

From the nervous system and sensory organs: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, feeling tired, insomnia, excitation, anxiety, fainting.

Cardio-vascular system and blood (hematopoiesis, hemostasis): orthostatic hypotension, angina, a decrease in blood viscosity, cold extremities.

From the digestive tract: nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, abdominal pain, an increase in the acidity of gastric juice.

With the genitourinary system: abnormal ejaculation.

For the skin: Sweating.

Allergic reactions: itchiness and redness of the face and upper body, эritema, hives.

Other: pain in the extremities, fever.

Cooperation.

It enhances the effects of antihypertensive drugs, anxiolytics and antipsychotics. Antacids cholestyramine and slow down the absorption. Avoid joint use of drugs, CNS stimulants, alpha- and beta-agonists.

Overdose.

Symptoms: low blood pressure.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside, before or during a meal, without chewing, drinking plenty of fluids, on the 5-10 mg 3 once a day. With limited kidney function (the value of whey creatinine more than 2 mg / ml) - By 5 mg 2-3 times a day.

B / drip for 4-8 mg 100 ml of physiological solution of sodium chloride; in/m 2-4 mg 2 once a day; B / A - By 4 mg 10 ml of physiological solution of sodium chloride, during 2 m. The course of treatment is from 2-3 weeks to several months.

Precautions.

When resistant bradycardia (Heart rate at rest is less 50 u. / min) the drug is only possible with careful medical supervision. While the use of anticoagulants and antiplatelet requires monitoring of blood coagulation parameters. Use caution with antihypertensive drugs.

After parenteral administration for the prevention of orthostatic effect, or in the event of severe hypotension it is recommended to take a horizontal position for 10-15 minutes.

Patients with renal failure, and elderly patients the daily dose should be reduced. Should not be used during the drivers of vehicles and people, skills relate to the high concentration of attention. At the time of treatment should refrain from drinking alcohol.
