Pharmaceutical form, composition and packaging

Capsules hard gelatin, opaque, and the housing lid white; содержимое капсул – порошок желтого цвета, practically odorless.

Excipients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, magnesium stearate.

Oral solution 4% in the form of a transparent, fluorescent yellow-brown liquid with a smell of mint.

Excipients: tartaric acid, vitamin C, a concentrated sugar syrup, glycerol (glycerol), ethanol 95%, essential oil of peppermint, caramel (E150), Purified water.

Pharmacological action

Фармакологическое действие – антипсихотическое, antispasmodic, antiemetic, sedation, snotvornoe. Blocks dopaminergic receptors (mainly D2), adrenergic, serotonergic, m-cholinergic receptors.

Testimony

• psihopatii (excitable and hysterical type),
• psychopathic disorders of organic origin with a predominance of affect and behavior sthenic,
• psychopathic condition in schizophrenia (incl. geboidnye),
• paranoid state within the organic, vascular, presenile and senile diseases;
• epilepsy with affective-explosive characterological symptoms and dysphoric states.

Dosage regimen

Inside, в начале лечения – 5–10 мг (больным с повышенной чувствительностью – 2–3 мг) 3-4 Times daily, средние суточные дозы – 30–40 мг, максимальные – 50–60 мг.

Side effect

Oppression, dyskinesias: early (spasmodic torticollis, okulomotornыy crisis, Trizm) and late, extrapyramidal disorders; orthostatic hypotension, dry mouth, constipation, Parez akkomodacii, urinary retention, impotence, frigidity, amenorrhea, galactorrhea, gynecomastia, hyperprolactinemia, weight gain, hyperthermia, cholestatic jaundice, photosensitivity, agranulocytosis (rarely).

Contraindications

• toxic agranulocytosis history,

Pregnancy and lactation

Cautions

In the case of hyperthermia treatment should be stopped immediately.

Particularly careful monitoring is required in the treatment of epilepsy (in connection with a possible lowering epileptic threshold) and Parkinson's disease.

Carefully prescribed to elderly patients (sedation and hypotensive effects); cardiovascular diseases, kidney or liver failure; transport drivers and those, working with machinery (drowsiness and decreased, especially at the beginning of treatment, reaction).
