Characteristic.

Calcium channel blocker of the group dihydropyridine derivatives.

Pharmacological action.

Application.

Arterial hypertension (monotherapy and in combination with other agents).

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, aortalnыy stenosis, period during 1 months after myocardial infarction.

Restrictions apply.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Side effects.

Other antihypertensive drugs, incl. beta-blockers, Diuretic, ACE inhibitors, increase (additsiya) hypotensive effect. Lacidipine eliminates the inhibitory effect of cyclosporine in the glomerular filtration rate. Cimetidine increases the concentration of lacidipine plasma. Grapefruit juice reduces bioavailability.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside, morning, at the same time, regardless of the meal. At the beginning of treatment to 1 mg / day. Through 3-4 weeks dose can be increased to 4 mg / day. You can take the drug indefinitely.

Precautions.

Care should be taken in patients with dysfunction of the pacemaker, lower value of cardiac output, unstable angina, hepatic insufficiency and in the early post-MI.
