Pharmacological action
Antibiotic from the lincosamide group, has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial action. The mechanism of action is due to binding to 50 S subunit of the ribosomal membrane and suppression of protein synthesis in the microbial cell. Bacteriostatic. Possible bactericidal effect against a number of gram-positive cocci.
It is active against Staphylococcus spp. (incl. Staphylococcus epidermidis, producing and non-producing penicillinase), Streptococcus spp. (excluding Enterococcus faecalis), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Mycoplasma spp., anaerobic and microaerophilic gram-positive cocci (including Peptococcus spp . и Peptostreptococcus spp.), Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium Dathan, Bacteroides spp. (including Bacteroides fragilis and Prevotella melaninogenica), Fusobacterium spp., Propionibacterium spp., eybacterium and Actinomyces israelii.

Клиндацин® несовместим с эритромицином, Ampicillin, производными дифенилгидантоина, ʙarʙituratami, aminofillinom, calcium gluconate and magnesium sulphate.
