Characteristic.
Clear, colorless, odorless liquid, or with a weak peculiar smell, slightly acidic; decomposes rapidly under the influence of light, by heating or contact with щelochью, oxidising or reducing agents, with the release of oxygen.
Pharmacological action.
Antiseptic, hemostatic, Disinfectant, deodorant.
Application.
Primary treatment of superficial wounds contaminated, cleaning the wound of pus and blood clots, stop capillary bleeding from surface wounds, wells tooth and nosebleeds.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity.
Side effects.
Allergic reactions (rarely), burning sensation in the wound area.
Cooperation.
Collapses and loses its effectiveness when interacting with alkalis and heavy metal salts.
Dosing and Administration.
Outwardly. Damaged areas (skin, mucous) treated cotton or gauze pad, dipped in a solution or spray.
Precautions.
Avoid contact with the eyes; should not be used for irrigation of the cavities and under occlusive dressings.
Cautions.
In addition to topical 3% solution was used also inside in toxicological practice as antidote (in combination with 3% acetic acid) in case of poisoning with potassium permanganate.
