Characteristic.

Polypeptide antibiotics, produced spore stick Bacillus brevis var.G.-B. On chemical structure is a cyclic decapeptide, including two amino acid residues: L-valine, L-ornithine, L-leucine, D-phenylalanine and L-proline. Molecular weight 1141,44.

Pharmacological action.
Antibacterial local, spermicidal.

Application.

Solution: sores, bedsores, ulcers, skin burns, osteomyelitis, injured joints, empyema, flegmona, carbuncle, furunkul, pyoderma; inflammatory diseases of the ear and throat.

Buccal tablets: infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx: strep throat, tonsillitis, sore throat, parodontoz, gingivitis, stomatitis.

Pasta: local contraception, burns, wounds.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, dermatosis (for outdoor use), breastfeeding.

Restrictions apply.

Pregnancy.

Allergic reactions, contact dermatitis.

Cooperation.

It enhances the effect of other antimicrobial agents.

Dosing and Administration.

Locally. The solutions used for washing, irrigation bandages and tampons, lubricating the skin. Buccal tablet slowly dissolves in the oral cavity, the paste is applied to the skin surface by a thin layer of gauze (the bandage is changed after 2-4 days) or inserted into the vagina a special syringe (for contraception). A course of treatment, multiplicity of application, dose, route of Administration is dependent on the evidence, the nature and extent of damage.
