Pharmaceutical form, composition and packaging

◊ Syrup Brown color, and odor; fluid light scattering experiment is allowed.

Excipients: metilparagidroksiʙenzoat (E218), sucrose.

* – It is made from the root perwotsveta (Primula veris l., f. Primulaceae), purified water (extractant), in relation to 1:2-4.6 (an average of 1 part of the plant raw material is obtained 3.3 part of the extract).

** – prepared from herbs of thyme (Thymus vulganis l., f. Lamiaceae), purified water (extractant), in relation to 1:3.3 (from 1 part of the plant raw material is obtained 3.3 part of the extract).

Pharmacological action

Herbal medicines. It has expectorant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial effect, reduces viscosity rate and better othozdeniu phlegm.

Testimony

The material of the drug in the treatment of:

-inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract with difficult separated phlegm (incl. bronchitis, tracheitis, traheobronhit);

Dosage regimen

Adults the drug is prescribed for 3 measuring spoons (15 ml) 3-4 times / day.

Children over 14 years appoint 2 measuring spoons (10 ml) 3-4 times / day; children aged 5 to 14 years – by 1 measuring spoon (5 ml) 3 times / day; children aged 2 to 5 years – by 1/2 measuring spoon (2.5ml) 3 times / day.

Duration of treatment – 2-3 of the week. Increasing the duration or the re-treatment is possible after consulting a doctor.

The drug is taken orally, squeezed enough warm water.

Side effect

From the digestive system: rarely – nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

There are: allergic reactions.

Contraindications

- Diabetes;

- Bronchial asthma;

- Congenital fructose intolerance;

— glucose/Galactose malabsorption syndrome;

- Congenital deficiency of sucrase / isomaltase;

children after suffering acute obstructive laryngitis (croup);

- Children up to age 2 years;

- Hypersensitivity to the drug, as well as to drugs, containing active substances primulaceae family and the family Lamiaceae.

Pregnancy and lactation

Pregnant and lactating women are not recommended to use the drug (due to insufficient data on the safety of the drug in these patients).

Cautions

IN 1 measuring spoon syrup (5 ml) contains 3.15 g sucrose. Subject to the recommendations on dosage regimen a patient receives an appointment from 3.15 g (1 scoop – 5 ml, matches 0.315 HE) to 9.45 g (3 dimensional spoons – 15 ml, matches 0.945 HE) sucrose.
