Pharmaceutical form, composition and packaging

◊ Gel for external use 2.5% from colorless to light yellowish color, clear or slightly opalescent.

Excipients: polyethylene glycol, metilgidroksiʙenzoat, propyl, karʙomer, triethanolamine, Purified water.

Pharmacological action

NSAIDs for outdoor use. Anti-inflammatory, antiekssoudativoe and analgesic action.

Applied to the lesions of joints, tendons, ligaments, muscle, skin, Veins, the lymph vessels and lymph nodes. When the articular syndrome leads to weakening of joint pain at rest and during movement, reduces morning stiffness and swelling of joints.

Pharmacokinetics

Ketoprofen it penetrates through the skin, that provides local analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Bioavailability of gel – about 5%. The binding to plasma proteins – 99%. Not accumulates in the body.

It is metabolized in the liver. About 80% of the dose excreted in the urine as metabolites, less 10% an unchanged.

Dosage regimen

The drug is intended for outdoor use.
