Characteristic.
Etacridine lactate - yellow crystalline powder of a bitter taste, without smell. It is soluble in cold water (1:50), easier - in hot, slightly soluble in alcohol (1:100), practically insoluble in ether. Aqueous solutions are unstable, especially in light (turn brown).
Pharmacological action.
Antiseptic.
Application.
As an external antiseptic surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity, kidney disease with albuminuria.
Side effects.
Local allergic reactions.
Dosing and Administration.
Locally. Applied topically to the affected area 1-3 times a day.
