Characteristic.

Cream or orange-cream crystalline powder with a smell. Practically insoluble in water.

Pharmacological action.
Antimicrobial, Antibacterial, protivoprotozoynymi, antifungal.

Application.

Dysentery, salmonellosis, food poisoning, dysbiosis, infectious and inflammatory diseases of the vagina.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, Serious liver and kidney, diseases of the optic nerve, peripheral nerve, a history of allergic reactions, pregnancy, lactation (at the time of treatment must stop breastfeeding).

Side effects.

Dyspepsia (stomach ache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), headache, peripheral neuropathy, myelopathies, optic nerve damage, allergic reactions (skin rashes, itch, fever); itching and burning in the vagina (disappear after cessation of treatment).

Cooperation.

It reduces the effect of insulin and oral hypoglycemic agents.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside: 3 times a day after meals, adults-200-600 mg (maximum — 1,2 g), children at the rate of 5-10 mg/kg/day (no more 15 mg / kg); treatment 3-5 days.

Intravaginal: injected deep into the vagina, before bedtime; by 1 Table. per day; a course of treatment - 7 days.
