Characteristic.

Yellow crystalline powder, low odor.

Pharmacological action.
Neuroleptic, antipsychotic, timolepticheskoe, antiemetic, anticonvulsant.

Application.

Psychosis, incl. schizophrenia, depression during menopause, paroxysms of excitement, associated with fear and stress, encephalopathy, traumatic brain injury, delirium tremens, sleep disturbances during an alarm, psychosomatic, neurotic disorders in children, premedication, postoperative period, burns, dermatoses with persistent itching.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, Poisoning means, CNS depressants (including alcohol), Orthostatic hypotension, pheochromocytoma, epilepsy, parkinsonizm, tendency to collapse, expressed by the human kidney, liver, heart and respiration, zakrыtougolynaya glaucoma, myasthenia gravis, pregnancy, lactation (should abandon breastfeeding), the elderly and children (to 6 years) age.

Side effects.

Psychomotor inhibition, extrapyramidal disorder, fatigue, headache, dry mouth, accommodation disturbances and vision, orthostatic hypotension, tachycardia, constipation, dysuria, jaundice, amenorrhea, galactorrhea, gynecomastia, decreased libido, changes in carbohydrate metabolism, increased appetite, weight gain, agranulocytosis, leukopenia, photosensitivity, photodermatitis, syndrome "cancel".

Cooperation.

It enhances the effects of general anesthetics, narcotic analgesics, sedatives and hypnotics, others. neuroleptics, ethanol and ethanol-containing drugs.

Dosing and Administration.

Inside: adults — on 25-400 mg/day. Most of the dose, usually, administered at night.

Precautions.

Discontinuation of therapy is recommended, gradually reducing the dosage. During therapy should avoid taking alcohol, exposure to extreme temperatures, insolation, potentially hazardous activities, require increased attention and psychomotor speed reactions.
