What Perthes disease
Legg-Calve-Perthes (BLKP) is a rare disease of the hip in children and 2-12 years. BLKP disease of bone in the upper leg. Some diseases can reduce blood flow to the hip, causing deterioration of bone growth and its deformation. Over time the bone breaks and the child begins to limp. BLKP often observed in only one thigh, and only 10% cases affect both hips.
Causes of Perthes' disease
