Characteristic
The mixture BiNO3(OH)2, BiONO3 and BiOOH, is a white, amorphous or crystalline powder. Practically insoluble in water and alcohol, easily soluble in hydrochloric acid.
Pharmacological action.
Astringent, absorbent, dermatoprotektivnoe, antacidnoe, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory.
Application.
Inflammatory diseases of the skin and mucous membranes (dermatitis, ulcers, erosion, eczema); gastroduodenit, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, enteritis, colitis.
Restrictions apply.
Hypersensitivity, renal failure.
Side effects.
Headache, swelling of the eyelids and gums, vezikulы and pigmentation Tongue, nausea, vomiting, metgemoglobinemiâ.
Cooperation.
Compatible with holinoliticheskimi, antispasmodic, commonly used for stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers. At the same time taking tetracyclines may form nonabsorbable complexes.
Dosing and Administration.
In dermatology-external, in the form of ointments, dusting powders (5–10%). Pathology of the GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT-inside, 15-30 minutes before eating (drinking plenty of water), adults-to 0.25-0.5 g 4-6 times a day, children — by 0.1-0.5 g 3-4 times a day.
