Characteristic.

The antifungal agent for topical use. Imidazole. It is lipophilic. Soluble in alcohol, dimethylformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide. Solubility O at pH 6: <0,1 mg / 100ml. Stable in aqueous solutions at pH 1-12. Molecular weight - 310,39.

Pharmacological action.
Broad spectrum antifungal.

Application.

Dermatophyte (incl. microsporia, ringworm, ruʙrofitija); candidiasis of skin, nail ridges, polish, genitals; pityriasis versicolor; erythrasma; interdigital intertrigo; hyperhidrosis stop.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity.

Restrictions apply.

Infants (Use only under medical supervision).

Pregnancy and breast-feeding.

In the I trimester of pregnancy may use only under strict indications.

Side effects.

Mild redness and irritation of the skin, burning; local reactions at the edges or on the nail bed (irritation, Krasnoja, maceration, peeling, contact dermatitis); allergic reactions.

Dosing and Administration.

Outwardly, applied on the lesions twice daily 1-2. Selection of the dosage form and duration of treatment depend on the nature of the disease, the size and location of the lesion. The course lasts 2-5 weeks, Stop for hyperhidrosis (use powder) is 2-3 weeks. After the liquidation of clinical manifestations of mycosis treatment continues 10-15 days, applying cream, solution or powder 1 once a day for the prevention of relapse.

Precautions.

In the absence or lack of effectiveness of treatment should be further examination of the patient (incl. assessment of the state of the immune and endocrine systems, blood picture) and adjustment of treatment.
