Characteristic.

White crystalline solid. Плохо растворимо в воде при 20 °C (0,24%), easily soluble in boiling water and ethanol. Molecular weight 188,22.

Pharmacological action.
Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, keratolytic.

Application.

Cream. Acne vulgaris (acne vulgaris), hyperpigmentation such as melasma (such as chloasma).

Gel. Acne vulgaris (acne vulgaris), Rosacea.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity, incl. to the drug (propylene glycol).

Pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Category actions result in FDA - B. (The study of reproduction in animals revealed no risk of adverse effects on the fetus, and adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women have not done.)

Side effects.

In rare cases, (in the first 1-2 weeks of therapy) possible skin irritation, burning sensation.

Dosing and Administration.

Locally. The dosage regimen and duration of therapy is determined individually. Cream or gel is applied to previously cleaned (mild detergent and water) affected skin and gently rub 2 once a day. Длительность курса — несколько месяцев (при лечении мелазмы — не менее 3 Months). Repeated course is possible after 1-2-month break.

Precautions.

Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes of the nose, lips and mouth. In case of severe skin irritation expressed in the first weeks of treatment may be applied 1 once a day or momentarily stop the drug.
