Characteristic.
White cubic crystal or white crystalline powder salty taste, without smell. Easily soluble in water (1:3), slightly soluble in ethanol.
Pharmacological action.
Plazmozameshchath, detoxification, hydrating, normalizing KHS.
Application.
Solution 0,9% - Big losses of extracellular fluid (incl. toksicheskaya dyspepsia, cholera, diarrhea, anacatharsis, extensive burns with strong exudation), hypochloremia and hyponatremia with dehydration, ileus, as a means of detoxification; washing of wounds, eye, nasal, for dilution and dissolution of various drugs and humidification dressing.
Hypertonic solution - Pulmonary, gastric and intestinal bleeding, as auxiliary osmotic diuretic during forced diuresis, dehydration, silver nitrate poisoning, for the treatment of purulent wounds (locally), constipation (rectally).
Contraindications.
Gipernatriemiya, Acidosis, hyperchloremia, kaliopenia, extracellular hyperhydration; circulatory disorders, threatening swelling of the brain and lungs; swelling of the brain, pulmonary edema, acute left ventricular failure, GK concomitant therapy at high doses.
Restrictions apply.
Impaired renal function, heart failure, arterial hypertension, peripheral edema, toxemia of pregnancy (for large volumes of isotonic solution).

Dosing and Administration.
Isotonic solution - I /, n / a, enemas, locally. Before the introduction of the solution is heated to 36-38° c. Dose is determined depending on the loss of body fluids, averages 1 l / day; When dehydration and intoxication — to 3 l / day. The speed is 540 ml / h; If necessary, more. 0,9% sodium chloride solution used for washing wounds, eye, nasal mucosa, moistening the dressing.
