Characteristic.
Antibiotic topical aminoglycoside.
Pharmacological action.
Antibacterial, bactericide.
Application.
Infectious-inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and ENT, incl. rhinitis, rinofaringit, sinusitis; prevention and treatment of postoperative infections.
Contraindications.
Hypersensitivity (incl. other aminoglycosides), Pregnancy and breast-feeding (adequate safety studies use has not been).
Side effects.
Allergic skin reactions, superimposed infection (using over 10 days).
Dosing and Administration.
Intranasal, by 1 injection into each nostril, adults-4-6 times per day, Children - 3 once a day. Duration of treatment is not more than 7-10 days.
Precautions.
At long (more 10 days) Therapy can dysbiosis and the emergence of resistant strains. Should not be used for rinsing the sinuses. Absence of improvement within 7-10 days of treatment requires replacement.
