Pharmacological action

An inhibitor of the peripheral dopa decarboxylase. In combination with levodopa reduces the formation of dopamine in peripheral tissues and enhancing amount of levodopa, entering the CNS. Is also an inhibitor of peripheral oksitriptana carboxy-lyases – predecessor serotonin. Do not cross the BBB.

Dosage regimen
