Characteristic.

Ambazone monohydrate - crystal brown or copper color. It is soluble in water, sparingly soluble in ethanol and acetone, easily soluble in dimethylformamide and dilute acids.

Pharmacological action.
Antiseptic.

Application.

Prevention and treatment of acute infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx: sore throat, tonsillitis, stomatitis, gingivitis, pharyngitis, postoperative treatment for tonsillectomy and tooth extraction.

Contraindications.

Hypersensitivity.

Side effects.

Allergic reactions, skin rash.

Dosing and Administration.

Locally. Tablets keep the mouth to complete resorption, apply no earlier than 15-30 minutes after eating (it is advisable to refrain from drinking and eating for 3 hours after administration of tablets). Adults - 30-50 mg / day for 3-4 days; children 3-7 years - 10 mg 3 twice a day every day.

Cautions.

Increasing doses does not lead to increased clinical effect.
