Addamel N: Dosing and Administration

Intravenously

Before use, Addamel H must be added under aseptic conditions to a solution of amino acids or glucose with a concentration of 5 to 50% (eg 5, 10, 20, 40 or 50%). Stir the resulting solution by gently shaking, then use to administer for no more 24 hours after preparation.

Adults weighing over 40 kg: with a basal or moderately increased need for trace elements, the recommended daily dose of Addamel H is 10 ml (1 amp.).

With an increased need for trace elements, it is possible to use up to 20 ml of Addamel N in the appropriate infusion solution.

Children with body weight 15 kg or more: The recommended dose of Addamel H is 0,1 ml / kg / day.

The drug Addamel N can be used for so long, how much the patient's clinical condition requires, based on the daily requirement for trace elements.
